An immediate opportunity exists for a volunteer Fundraising Administrator to assist with the necessary fundraising administration as we increase our fundraising efforts with appeals such as our terrier locomotives ‘Terrier 150’ and overhaul of “Camilla” the Wealden Pullman kitchen car, amongst others.
It is a responsible post and a vital part of the effort to raise capital for development of the Kent & East Sussex Railway.
Candidates will need to be computer literate with good administrative skills.
The role includes:
- Acknowledging Donations from postal and online Donors by letter/email.
- Liaising with appropriate persons at The Terrier Trust and The K&ESR to ensure that donors are provided with the benefits they are entitled to, such as donation certificates.
The successful candidate will be based at the main Tenterden office reporting to the Finance Manager. It would suit persons able to attend Tenterden at least once a week at a time when the administrative offices are manned.
